- All-purpose flour (¼ cup)
- Turkey or chicken broth (6 cups)
- Wild rice (1 cup, uncooked, rinsed, drained)
- Cooked turkey (3 cups, chopped into bite-sized pieces)
- Heavy whipping cream (1 cup)
- Parsley
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add diced onion, carrots, and celery; sauté until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic, kosher salt, and ground pepper.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables; stir for 2 minutes.
- Gradually add turkey broth, then bring to a simmer.
- Stir in wild rice and simmer on low for 40-50 minutes.
- Add cooked turkey and heavy cream; cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
