Description

Warm up with our Slow Cooker Baileys Irish Cream Hot Chocolate, featuring rich cocoa and creamy Baileys. It’s an easy, delightful treat for gatherings or relaxing evenings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz. ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup baileys® irish cream
  • marshmallows or whipped cream

Instructions

  • Break up the chocolate squares and place them in the slow cooker.
  • Add the remaining ingredients except for the Baileys.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 1.5 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  • Once the mixture is hot, stir in the Baileys Irish Cream.
  • Serve in mugs with whipped cream and marshmallows on the side so guests can help themselves.
  • Set the slow cooker to warm, where it can stay for up to 3 hours while being regularly stirred.

Notes

For a thicker hot chocolate, use less milk or add more chocolate.
You can substitute the Ghirardelli chocolate with any quality semi-sweet chocolate baking square.
Feel free to add flavored syrups or seasonal spices for extra flavor.
