Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup water
  • Green onions
  • Cooked white rice

Instructions

  • Cut salmon into 1-inch cubes and pat dry.
  • Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl; coat salmon cubes.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook salmon for 3-4 minutes until golden.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, red pepper flakes, and water; simmer until thick.
  • Pour glaze over cooked salmon; toss to coat evenly and heat through.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and serve over cooked rice.

Notes

For crispy sear, avoid crowding the skillet while cooking the salmon.
Using fresh garlic will enhance the flavor more than garlic powder.
Adjust red pepper flakes according to your spice preference.
