Description

Enjoy the bold flavors of our Ground Beef Tacos. With simple ingredients and quick prep, these tacos are your go-to for a fast, satisfying dinner. Perfectly seasoned beef wrapped in warm tortillas will please everyone at the table!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 8 taco-size corn or flour tortillas
  • toppings: shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, avocado

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef by crumbling it with a spatula.
  • If needed, drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  • Lower the heat to medium, then add the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, salt, black pepper, tomato sauce, and water. Mix well.
  • Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the meat to cook fully and the flavors to blend together.
  • Serve the seasoned beef in warmed tortillas and top with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Feel free to substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
You can add more vegetables like bell peppers or onions for added flavor and nutrition.
If you prefer spicier tacos, consider adding jalapeños or hot sauce.
