Description

These festive Grinch Cookies are soft, chewy, and adorned with heart sprinkles. Perfect for creating joyful memories during the holiday season!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ¼ cups white sugar + 1/2 cup for rolling

  • Green food coloring
  • 16 heart sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy; add egg, yolk, vanilla, and green food coloring, mixing until smooth.
  • Gradually incorporate dry ingredients until dough forms, being careful not to overmix.
  • Roll dough into balls and coat in sugar before placing on the baking sheets.
  • Bake for 11-12 minutes until edges are set and centers are puffed.
  • Press a heart sprinkle into the center of each cookie while warm, then cool on a wire rack.
