Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° F and prepare 18 muffin liners in the pans.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar and unsalted butter until fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to combine.
  • Mix in the green food coloring and vanilla extract until evenly blended.
  • In another bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder thoroughly.
  • Pour the buttermilk into the wet ingredients and mix together.
  • Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until well incorporated.
  • Fill each cupcake liner about three-quarters full with the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 17 minutes, using a toothpick to check for doneness.

Ensure the butter is at room temperature before creaming for best results.
Feel free to adjust the amount of green food coloring for desired color intensity.
