Description

This Gordon Ramsay Christmas Salmon is a must-try holiday dish! Its rich flavors from honey glaze, dill, and cranberries create an unforgettable festive experience. Simple to prepare, this dish is ideal for gatherings, providing both quick prep and impressive presentation.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.21.5 kg side of salmon
  • 150 g unsalted butter
  • 120 ml honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 360 ml sour cream
  • 120 ml chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 grated eschalot
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon zest
  • 150 g dried cranberries soaked in 240 ml hot orange juice
  • 120 g toasted almonds
  • 80 ml chopped fresh parsley
  • Pomegranate seeds, for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish
  • Lemon juice, to taste

Instructions

  • Mix dill sauce ingredients in a bowl and chill.
  • Soak cranberries in hot orange juice for 10 minutes; combine with almonds and parsley for tapenade.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare salmon on foil-lined sheet.
  • Melt butter, mix with honey and garlic, pour over salmon, and seal in foil.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then broil for 7-10 minutes until golden.
  • Rest salmon for 5 minutes, serve with dill sauce and tapenade, and garnish.

Notes

Use fresh salmon for best texture and flavor.
Feel free to substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream in the sauce.
You can prepare the dill sauce and tapenade a day ahead for enhanced flavor.
