  • Molasses (1 tablespoon)
  • Ground Ginger (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Ground Cinnamon (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Ground Nutmeg (a pinch)
  • Ground Cloves (a pinch)
  • Hot Water (1-2 teaspoons)
  • Espresso (4 shots)
  • Milk (1 cup)
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  • Cinnamon or Nutmeg (for topping)

Instructions

  • Mix gingerbread syrup in a bowl with maple syrup, molasses, spices, and hot water until smooth.
  • Add syrup to hot espresso shots, stirring to blend.
  • Steam or heat milk until hot and frothy.
  • Combine gingerbread espresso mixture with steamed milk.
  • Top with whipped cream and cinnamon/nutmeg for garnish.
