Description

These French Toast Cups are a delightful twist on traditional French toast, combining rich brioche, eggs, and warm spices into adorable cups perfect for breakfast or brunch. They’re quick, easy, and sure to impress!

Ingredients

  • Brioche or Challah Bread
  • Large Eggs
  • Whole Milk
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Butter or Cooking Spray
  • Maple Syrup, Powdered Sugar, or Fresh Berries (for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  • Cut the brioche or challah into quarters and press into muffin cups.
  • Whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread cups and press gently to soak.
  • Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown and set.
  • Cool slightly, then serve warm with powdered sugar, maple syrup, or berries.

Notes

Make sure to grease the muffin tin well so the cups release easily.
Using stale bread works well; just be cautious about over-soaking.
Feel free to add chocolate chips or nuts for variety.
