Description

Ingredients

  • Rice Krispies cereal
  • Mini marshmallows (10 oz)
  • Unsalted butter (½ cup or 1 stick)
  • Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
  • Ground cinnamon (1½ tsp)
  • Brown sugar (⅓ cup)
  • Granulated sugar (⅓ cup for topping)
  • Ground cinnamon (1 tsp for topping)
  • Nonstick spray or butter

Instructions

  • Brown the butter in a pot over medium heat, stirring until golden (5-7 minutes).
  • Add mini marshmallows, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla; stir until melted and smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies until well coated.
  • Fold in additional mini marshmallows gently.
  • Grease a 9×13-inch pan and press mixture evenly without packing too tightly.
  • Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over warm treats.
  • Allow to cool for 30-45 minutes, then cut into squares.

Notes

Ensure to not burn the butter while browning; keep a close watch.
