Description

Enjoy a delightful Crockpot Shrimp Boil that brings irresistible flavors of shrimp, sausage, and corn together with minimal prep. Perfect for casual family dinners!


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb red skinned potatoes
  • 2 ropes andouille sausage
  • 34 sweet corn on the cob
  • 1 onion
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 12 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Creole/Cajun seasoning
  • 2 lbs raw jumbo shrimp
  • 1 lemon
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  • Wash and halve potatoes, add to the crockpot.
  • Layer andouille sausage, corn, onions, and minced garlic on top.
  • Pour in chicken broth and water, then sprinkle Old Bay and Creole seasoning; stir gently.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 5–6 hours or High for 3–4 hours.
  • In the last 30–60 minutes, add thawed shrimp, cover, and cook until pink and opaque.
  • Add lemon juice and parsley before serving.

Notes

Avoid overcooking shrimp for the best texture.
Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers and zucchini.
