Description

Circus Animal Cookie Rice Krispie Treats blend playful flavors and textures in a delightful treat. Perfect for snacks or parties, this easy recipe features circus animal cookies and colorful sprinkles, making it a fun option for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • circus animal cookies – 9 ounces
  • mini marshmallows – 10 ounces
  • rice krispies cereal – 6 cups
  • unsalted butter – 4 tablespoons
  • multi-colored nonpareils – 3 tablespoons
  • colored sprinkles – 3 tablespoons
  • white chocolate chips – 1/2 cup
  • red food coloring – 1-2 drops
  • heavy cream (optional) – 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Pulse cookies in a food processor until they are a mix of crumbs and small pieces. Reserve 1/2 cup.
  • Melt butter and marshmallows in a large pot over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and fold in cereal, cookie crumbles, and 2 tablespoons of each sprinkle type.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared pan using a greased silicone spatula.
  • Top with reserved cookie pieces.
  • Melt white chocolate chips in two separate bowls in the microwave for 30 seconds each.
  • Drizzle the first bowl of plain white chocolate over the treats using a sandwich bag with the corner cut off.
  • Mix red food coloring into the second bowl to create pink chocolate and drizzle in the opposite direction.
  • Sprinkle with remaining sprinkles and let cool until set.

Notes

Ensure to reserve some cookie pieces for topping before mixing them in.
Use a silicone spatula to prevent the mixture from sticking while pressing it into the pan.
Optional: For extra creaminess, mix in a little heavy cream when melting the white chocolate.
