- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- Optional additional powdered sugar or cocoa powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat together softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir together flour and chopped nuts in a separate bowl.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the butter-sugar mixture until just blended.
- Shape dough into small balls, spacing them an inch apart on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly browned at the edges.
- Cool slightly, then roll warm cookies in powdered sugar or cocoa powder.
