Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken (thighs or breasts)
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1.5 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or kashmiri chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or avocado)

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into 1.5-inch pieces.
  • In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices to create the marinade.
  • Add the chicken pieces and ensure they are well coated. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 375°F.
  • Arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer in the Air Fryer basket.
  • Cook for 12–14 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through the cooking time.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving with chutney or rice.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the amount of smoked paprika or kashmiri chili powder.
Marination time can be adjusted; longer marination yields more flavorful chicken.
Serve with a side of fresh salad or naan for a complete meal.
