- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1.5 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1.5 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or kashmiri chili powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable or avocado)
Instructions
- Cut the chicken into 1.5-inch pieces.
- In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces and ensure they are well coated. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 375°F.
- Arrange the marinated chicken in a single layer in the Air Fryer basket.
- Cook for 12–14 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through the cooking time.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving with chutney or rice.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the amount of smoked paprika or kashmiri chili powder.
Marination time can be adjusted; longer marination yields more flavorful chicken.
