Description

Ingredients

  • 12 cups chopped butter croissants
  • 3/4 cup salted butter + 2 tablespoons
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons On Everything All-Purpose Blend
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
  • 2 large organic eggs, whisked
  • 1 cup chicken stock, organic

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
  • Chop butter croissants into medium-sized pieces.
  • Melt 3/4 cup butter in a skillet, sauté garlic and onion until translucent.
  • Add chopped celery, On Everything blend, garlic powder, and optional sea salt; sauté until tender.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine croissants, sautéed vegetables, eggs, and chicken stock; mix gently.
  • Transfer to the greased baking dish, adding extra stock if desired; dot with remaining butter.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake another 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken stock with vegetable broth.
Make ahead by preparing a day in advance and refrigerating before baking.
