- 1 lb jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined, thawed)
- 1 lb sliced bacon (cut into thirds)
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking tray with foil.
- In a bowl, whisk melted butter, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder.
- Marinate shrimp in the mixture for 15 minutes.
- Wrap each shrimp in a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place wrapped shrimp on the baking tray, and sprinkle half the brown sugar on top.
- Bake for 7-8 minutes, flip shrimp, add remaining brown sugar, and bake for another 7-8 minutes until bacon is crispy.
Notes
Don’t crowd the baking tray for better crispiness.
